Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and technical **Motion Video Editor** to join our team.
You will be responsible for the entire post-production lifecycle - from cutting raw footage and syncing audio to designing high-end motion graphics and visual effects.
The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who can take a concept and turn it into a polished, professional video that aligns with our brand’s aesthetic and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- **Video Editing:** Assemble raw footage into high-quality finished products, including promotional videos, social media content, and internal communications.
- **Motion Graphics:** Design and animate 2D/3D elements such as lower thirds, transition effects, title sequences, and data visualizations.
- **Audio Post-Production:** Select appropriate background music, perform basic sound mixing, and ensure voiceovers are clear and synced.
- **Color Grading:** Apply color correction and grading to ensure a consistent look and feel across all shots.
- **Storyboarding:** Collaborate with the creative team to draft storyboards and scripts before production begins.
- **Format Optimization:** Export and optimize videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) ensuring correct aspect ratios and file sizes.
- **Asset Management:** Organize and archive project files, raw footage, and brand assets to ensure an efficient workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- **Software Mastery:** Expert-level proficiency in **Adobe Creative Cloud** (specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
- **Motion Design:** Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, squash and stretch).
- **Technical Knowledge:** Deep understanding of codecs, frame rates, and video compression standards.
- **Visual Eye:** Strong sense of composition, typography, and color theory.
- **Adaptability:** Experience with AI video tools (e.g., generative fill, AI voice cleaning) is a significant plus.
- **Experience:** 3+ years of experience in a professional editing environment (agency or in-house).
- **Portfolio:** A strong demo reel showcasing both "hard cuts" (editing) and "keyframed" (motion) work.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with 3D software (Cinema 4D, After Effects and Blender).
- Basic cinematography or lighting knowledge.
- Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
