Role Description
This full-time, on-site Mortgage Consultant role is based in Abu Dhabi and involves advising clients on suitable mortgage products and financing options.
The Mortgage Consultant will meet with prospective homebuyers, assess their financial profiles, and explain mortgage terms, eligibility criteria, and repayment structures in clear, accessible language.
Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing applications, coordinating with lenders and internal teams, and ensuring all documentation complies with regulatory and company standards.
The role also requires maintaining strong client relationships, responding promptly to inquiries, and following up on applications to ensure a smooth and timely approval process.
The Mortgage Consultant will contribute to business growth through proactive client outreach, referral management, and accurate reporting of pipeline and conversion activities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and Mortgages, with the ability to explain products and processes clearly to clients.
- Solid understanding of Finance principles relevant to home lending and affordability assessments.
- Hands-on experience in Mortgage Lending, including application review, documentation, and coordination with banks or financial institutions.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a client-focused approach and the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and comfort working with numbers, credit reports, and financial statements.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience as a mortgage advisor, loan officer, or in a related financial services role is preferred.
