Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a highly accurate legal translator (English ↔ Arabic) to join our growing team.
You will ensure that all official translations meet UAE Ministry of Justice (MOJ) standards, enabling our corporate immigration and visa clients to submit compliant documents to courts, notaries, and government entities.
Our Plan
Licensed by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) in the Professional Service category, we are planning to add a business entity in Corporate Immigration and Legal Translation services.
We operate under the Professional Indemnity and Good Standing requirements mandated by the UAE Ministry of Justice.
Key Eligibility Requirements (MOJ Standards)
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Law (MOFA attested).
· Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in legal translation for ex-pats (UAE nationals exempt).
· Good Standing: Clean criminal record, MOJ health certificate, and valid 3-year Professional Indemnity Insurance Policy.
· MOJ Status: Active Registration in the MOJ listed translators schedule.
· Legal Pair: Proficiency in English ↔ Arabic legal contexts.
Breakdown of Pre-Employment Investment (Sponsored by us):
1.
MOJ Registration: AED 3,000 (Valid for 3 years).
2.
Professional Indemnity Insurance: A mandatory 3-year policy covering legal liabilities.
3.
MOJ Technical Exam: Applicants must pass the official MOJ assessment (Test Fee: AED 300).
4.
License & Government Fees (Part of Setup):
· Trade License issuance & Annual Renewal.
· Establishment Card (Fixed fees set by
ADDED).
Alternate Paths to Employment
· For Certified Translators (Option A): Immediate opening.
We sponsor your Partner/General Manager Visa, covering Daman’s Plan for Management, and all immigration/ICP fees.
· For Non-Certified Experts (Option B): Apply even if you are not registered yet but willing to take the exam.
Responsibilities
· Legal translation of employment contracts, MOAs, court notices, MOHRE and ICP legal papers.
· Stamping and signing translations with MOJ digital certification.
· Drafting legal documents in Arabic (Notarization, Power of Attorney).
· Liaising with ADDED for translation clause compliance in trade licenses.
· Position: MOJ Certified Legal Translator

· Salary: Negotiable (based on experience and MOJ grading)

· Medical: Daman Health Insurance provided
