Mobility - Assessment Centre Officer

This role is primarily responsible for the use of assessment centres within the organisation to undertake recruitment for operational positions. This includes the use of assessment centres for selection, recruitment and development. The role contributes to broader capability assessment and development across the organisation.

Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in an area of evidence-based recruitment and human resources.

Demonstrated strong experience in evidence-based recruitment and the end-to-end assessment centre process.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills covering a diverse range of areas including reports, briefing notes, assessment tasks and advice.

Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship management skills including the capability to successfully relate to all levels of staff as well as external stakeholders.

Excellent attention to detail, as well as analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret information from different sources to pro-actively identify issues and formulate strategies to address them.

Demonstrated ability to learn legislative requirements, organisational policy and procedures and organisational strategy and align these to recruitment and capability assessment and development processes within the organisation.

Highly effective time management skills including the ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines and manage the demands of different stakeholders and clients.

Advanced computing skills including the use of Microsoft Office, Human Resources Information Systems and TRIM or similar records management system.
