We are looking for a mobile developer to join the Perth engineering team full time.
You will work across native Android and iOS as well as cross-platform projects in React Native, building production-grade apps for clients in mining, energy, finance, and beyond.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership from day one.
About Horizon Digital

We are an AWS Generative AI Competency Partner, delivering AI and integrated software for Tier One Australian enterprises across mining, energy, finance, healthcare, and government.
We build production-grade software, not prototypes that go nowhere.
What You Will Do
- Design, build, and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
- Develop and optimise cross-platform apps using React Native.
- Integrate REST APIs, third-party libraries, and native device modules.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable code following modern mobile architecture patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience in native Android (Kotlin or Java) and/or iOS (Swift).
- Solid knowledge of React Native and mobile UI/UX best practices.
- Understanding of mobile app architecture, state management, and offline-first patterns.
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and push notifications.
- Familiarity with app deployment via the Play Store and App Store.
- Comfortable with Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Nice to Have
- Experience with Flutter for cross-platform development.
- Python skills for backend tasks and API integration.
- Exposure to cloud services such as AWS or Firebase.
- Knowledge of unit testing, automation, and monitoring tools.
