Position Overview
The Mobile Crane Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of mobile cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mobile cranes, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize the performance and lifespan of the mobile crane fleet.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians, assisting them in complex repair and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to aid in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Provide technical support and on-site repairs for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification in Heavy Equipment Maintenance or a related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience with mobile cranes or heavy equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with hydraulic systems.
