Role Description

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform using Java and Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features.
• Integrate applications with external data sources and APIs.
• Write unit tests to ensure code robustness, covering edge cases, usability, and overall reliability.
• Continuously research, evaluate, and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to optimize app performance.
• Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in mobile application development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of published mobile applications.
• Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• In-depth understanding of Android SDK, various Android versions, and responsive design for different screen sizes.
• Experience integrating Android applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the complete mobile application development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and best practices for automated builds and deployments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and stay current with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of published mobile applications.
• Proficiency in working with third-party libraries, SDKs, and external APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative team environments.
• Solid understanding of architectural design patterns such as MVVM or MVP.
• Hands-on experience with local data storage solutions like SQLite and Room.
• Experience with cross-platform development using Flutter is highly desirable.
• Exposure to iOS development will be considered a strong advantage.
• Active contributions to open-source projects or meaningful participation in developer communities is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments with tight project deadlines.
• Prior experience working in the ERP software industry is highly preferred.
