MMA Fitness Coach

About This Role

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled MMA/Hybrid Coach with proven expertise in private and small group training. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, experience in fitness coaching or MMA, and the ability to deliver exceptional client results while promoting UFC Gym’s “Train Different” philosophy.

This is a salary /commission-based position, ideal for driven professionals who can meet sales and performance targets while creating a motivating training environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Sales Execution on Key Metrics

• Sell and conduct private and small group training sessions with members.
• Assist and encourage member involvement in personal training programs.
• Accurately manage client programs, track measurements, and administer supplement purchases.
• Participate in revenue-generating activities, including complimentary sessions, workshops, and fitness events.
• Prospect for new clients, conduct guest tours, and close training sales through effective presentation and consultation.
• Achieve personal monthly revenue targets (private coaching sessions, PT sales, and supplements).
• Perform starter sessions for new members and engage in consistent lead-generation activities.

2. Member Experience

• Deliver safe, effective, and personalized MMA or hybrid training sessions.
• Act as a brand ambassador of UFC Gym’s “Train Different” philosophy.
• Bring the T.R.A.I.N values (Timely, Ready, Aware, Inspiring, Noble) to every client interaction.
• Ensure the fitness floor and training areas remain organized, clean, and welcoming.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and results-driven experience for every member.

3. Miscellaneous Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company policies, payment procedures, and safety protocols.
• Document daily workouts in line with certification and liability requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of all club services and facilities.
• Follow the work schedule assigned by the Fitness Manager and attend mandatory meetings or workshops.

Organizational Relationships:

The MMA/Hybrid Coach reports directly to the Fitness Manager and will collaborate with all club employees and members to ensure a seamless experience.

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of personal training and MMA techniques, from assessment to program design.
• Working knowledge of fitness software (e.g., DotFIT) is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong sales and customer service orientation with the ability to convert leads into clients.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, outgoing, and able to work in a performance-driven environment.

Experience & Certifications

• CPR certification (mandatory).
• Certification from a recognized fitness organization or MMA/Pro-Am fight background.
• High school diploma or GED (required); a 4-year degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience (MMA, hybrid training, or personal training).
• DotFIT certification (preferred).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting 45+ pounds, squatting, bending, reaching, and spotting clients.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
