Role overview
Halliday Marx is partnering with a technology firm to hire an MLRO Officer on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end internal suspicious activity reports across several business units.
- Submit formal SARs to the National Crime Agency and prepare board MLRO reports on financial crime controls.
- Act as a primary FCA contact and advise senior management on financial crime risk.
- Design and update the Enterprise Risk Assessment; conduct KYC due diligence and execute asset-freezing protocols.
- Carry out transaction monitoring and supervise controls to detect payment fraud, scams and identity theft.
Requirements
- Available to start within one month.
- At least four years of experience in a senior compliance or MLRO role.
- Outstanding communication skills and a high degree of discretion.
