About the role

Saronic develops autonomous maritime systems for U.S. Department of Defense customers.

Mission Operations keeps platforms ready and supports customers across test events, training cycles, and field deployments.

The analyst provides Mission Ops leadership with data, reporting, and processes for informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze ERP, Salesforce, and inventory data to identify bottlenecks, trends, and gaps.
  • Build dashboards and weekly or monthly leadership reports on readiness, resource usage, deployment timelines, and cost trends.
  • Track KPIs across training, test, and deployment events to flag risks and inefficiencies.
  • Partner with Finance to track operational spend, burn rate, and T&E usage; use historical cost data for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Track contract milestones, CLIN deliverables, and invoicing alignment with Programs.
  • Log and report mission activities and customer engagements in Salesforce.
  • Maintain SOPs, deployment checklists, AAR workflows, and a central mission-documentation repository.
  • Prepare leadership briefings and support cross-functional meetings and action-item tracking.

Required qualifications

  • 1–3 years in business analysis, operations support, project coordination, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets and data-visualization skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with BI tools and ERP systems; hands-on Salesforce experience with reports, dashboards, or workflows.
  • Background in defense, aerospace, maritime technology, or DoD-adjacent environments.
  • Familiarity with logistics planning, operational readiness cycles, or field operations.
  • Exposure to contracting (SOWs, CLINs, program tracking), budgeting, or cost tracking.
  • Experience writing SOPs, process maps, or structured documentation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance; the employer states it pays 100% of employee premiums and 80% of dependent premiums, with dental and vision details tied to the basic plan.
  • PTO and holidays, paid parental leave, a 401(k) plan with company match, stock options, and life and disability insurance.
  • Pet insurance options, free lunch, and free drinks and snacks in the office.

Compensation

  • The posting describes salary as competitive and mentions performance-based bonuses, but provides no compensation amount or cadence.
