Role overview
4M Research seeks a Missile Defense System Architecture Analyst to assess future Missile Defense System architectures and concepts and support modeling and simulation tool development.
Responsibilities
- Assess system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats.
- Develop potential architecture solutions to mitigate gaps or improve performance.
- Assist with analysis plans, execute simulation tools, post-process and assess results, and prepare analysis briefs and reports.
- Support modeling and simulation work by tailoring tools to specific analysis plans.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in missile defense-related work or another complex, large DoD program or project.
- Active security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Basic understanding of current Missile Defense System architecture and future concepts.
- Some experience modeling, assessing, and evaluating future missile defense architectures.
- Ability to interpret results and present findings clearly; effective communication, collaboration, and time management.
Desired qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience with AFSIM or similar Missile Defense System simulation tools or frameworks.
- Background in IAMD or Cruise Missile Defense Systems.
- Background or experience with space systems.
Eligibility
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Compensation
- The listed salary is USD 90,000–99,000 per year.
