Mining Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Complete general field and operational support tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
• Assist with pit, ROM, haul road, loading area and general mine site activities where required.
• Conduct pre-start checks, basic inspections and report defects or hazards.
• Follow site procedures, traffic management requirements and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain good housekeeping around work areas, equipment and facilities.
• Support safe production by identifying risks and speaking up when something is unsafe.
• Participate in pre-starts, toolbox meetings, handovers and training activities.
• Work cooperatively with operators, supervisors, maintenance teams and other site personnel.
• Be flexible and willing to support changing operational priorities across the shift. Qualifications and Experience Current C Class driver’s licence Ability to work a FIFO roster 7 days 7 nights 14 off Ability to work safely ina remote Pilbara mine site environment Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions Basic literacy and numeracy skills Previous experiecne in mining, civil, construction, quarry, farming transport, labouring or other hands on work.
