Middle DevSecOps Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain secure configurations across GCP and AWS.
• Configure GCP Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Audit Logs to monitor and respond to threats.
• Manage GCP IAM roles, permissions, service accounts, and access policies according to least-privilege principles.
• Maintain and troubleshoot VPCs, firewall rules, subnets, routing, Cloud NAT, VPNs, and private connectivity.
• Remediate cloud vulnerabilities, security misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and network risks.
• Support AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, CloudTrail, and WAF.
• Support secure CI/CD and Terraform infrastructure-as-code across build and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement security improvements with minimal disruption.

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, network engineering, or cloud security.
• Hands-on GCP experience, especially IAM, VPC networking, and cloud security configurations.
• Strong understanding of GCP IAM, roles, service accounts, permissions, and least-privilege access.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud networks and working with GCP security and monitoring services.
• Experience resolving cloud security misconfigurations, network exposure, and access-control issues.
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and security services.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Terraform, and secure DevOps practices.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Bonus qualifications

• Advanced GCP security features such as VPC Service Controls, Organization Policies, and Workload Identity Federation.
• Security automation or scripting with Python, Bash, or similar tools.
• Zero Trust principles and cloud network security architecture.
• Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty certifications.
