Mid Software Engineer

Qualifications

• Required:
• Secret Clearance or above
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a Related field
• 5 years experience developing web based applications
• 5 years’ experience with Kubernetes or Docker
• Develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
• Experience working with Agile, Agile XP, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Material UI, TypeScript, React
• Experience with scripting languages Python, Bash, Powershell
• Networking experience
• Experience working with version control systems like Gitlab
• Experience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab CI and ArgoCD
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
• Experience in Database development like PostgreSQL
• Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools
• Proficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, AWS S3, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, Gradle
• Experience with Integration Testing
• Experience with Unit Testing tools Vitest, Jest, Cypress or Playwright
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
• Desired:
• Experience with writing custom Helm Charts
• Experience with Big Data
• Experience in Database development like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB
• Experience with Data Visualization tools PowerBI, Tableau, Python
• Experience or knowledge of Service-Mesh, such as Istio
• Experience with Ansible, Maven, Gradle
• Experience with Vue.Js and Angular
• Basic Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 (For Colorado Springs, CO Only)
• The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
• Additional Compensation:
• KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
