Role overview

Workplace

• Hybrid schedule: in office Monday through Wednesday and remote Thursday and Friday.

Testing and automation

• Write and execute test cases and plans for new features and regression cycles.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and system testing across web and API applications; track defects and verify fixes.
• Build and maintain automated UI and API tests using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Use AI-powered testing and LLM-assisted approaches to generate tests, summarize defects, analyze results, and flag anomalies.
• Integrate automated tests into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and maintain reliability.

Collaboration and quality support

• Clarify requirements and testing scope with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers.
• Use JIRA to log, prioritize, and follow up on defects; recommend QA process improvements.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, providing QA input.
• Assist with basic JMeter performance testing under guidance and support application security and industry-standard compliance.

Required qualifications

• 2–4 years of QA experience in a software development environment.
• Working experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools or techniques.
• Experience with API testing, such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git; understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC.
• Problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred skills

• Working knowledge of Java and TypeScript/JavaScript is preferred; Python or C# is a plus.
• AI/ML testing platforms, hands-on Claude use, AWS or another cloud platform, and ISTQB or another QA certification are nice to have.
