About This Role
We are currently looking to hire a Microsoft System Server Engineer for our Abu Dhabi office. This is an urgent opportunity for a skilled professional to manage and enhance a Microsoft-based server environment, ensuring stability, security, and high availability of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and manage Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO , and file services
- Manage and support Microsoft 365, Exchange Server , and hybrid environments
- Handle virtualization platforms ( Hyper-V / VMware )
- Implement monitoring, patching, and backup solutions
- Troubleshoot Level 2/3 infrastructure and server issues
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and configurations
- Support Microsoft Azure integrations and identity management
- Work on server/storage infrastructure implementation and troubleshooting
- Basic exposure to SAN/NAS, HCI, and networking/security concepts
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
- 3–7 years of relevant experience
- Strong expertise in:
- Windows Server & Active Directory
- DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- PowerShell scripting
- Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud security
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of backup solutions, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Certifications
- Azure Administrator Associate ( AZ-104 )
- Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
- M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert
- VMware Certification ( VCP ) – a plus
