About This Role
Overview
- As a Metal QS Surveyor, you will be responsible for the financial and contractual management of our projects from inception to final account:
- Quantity Take-offs:
- Perform accurate measurements and quantity take-offs from structural and architectural drawings.
• BOQ & Tender Prep
- Assist in the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical tender documents.
- Variation Management:
- Identify, price, and negotiate variation orders to ensure project profitability.
- Subcontractor Evaluation:
- Review subcontractor quotes, verify their work progress, and manage payment certifications.
- Cost Control:
- Monitor project budgets, prepare cost reports, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Billing & Certification
- Manage monthly progress billings, payment applications, and follow up on payment certifications with clients/consultants.
- Contractual Documentation:
- Maintain rigorous project documentation and ensure compliance with UAE contract laws and billing procedures.
