MES Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting MES systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of MES design specifications, architectures, and related industry standards.
• Experience working with manufacturing processes, production workflows, and shop-floor systems.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical MES solutions.
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Mandarin Chinese bilingual proficiency is strongly preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and business partners is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with leading MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, SAP ME/MII, Apriso, or similar).
• Knowledge of system integration with ERP (SAP, Oracle), PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.
• Familiarity with validation practices, change management, and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting multi-site or global MES deployments.

The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.
• Expected Pay Range$100,000—$120,000 USD
