Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with international suppliers and manufacturing partners, particularly across China and Asia
- Manage end-to-end import/export and order processing activities
- Handle quotations, purchase orders, shipment coordination, and supplier follow-ups
- Liaise with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and customs agents
- Monitor production timelines and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and support commercial negotiations
- Assist with pricing analysis, inventory coordination, and operational reporting
- Ensure all trade documentation and compliance requirements are properly managed
Key Requirements
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential
- Must be currently based in the UAE or open to relocating to Dubai
- Proven experience in a Merchant Executive, Merchandising, Sourcing, Trading, or Supply Chain role
- Strong knowledge of import/export operations and international trade documentation
- Experience working with manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics providers
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced international business environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Background
- Experience within manufacturing, sourcing, trading, FMCG, consumer goods, or import/export industries
- Familiarity with international shipping processes and supply chain coordination
- Experience dealing with Chinese manufacturers and global suppliers is highly preferred
