Role overview
KEYNES MEP is hiring a hands-on MEP Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer to independently estimate complete MEP works.
The role asks for 3–5 years of experience; UAE MEP experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs and quantity take-offs directly from drawings.
- Prepare complete MEP costing and client quotations.
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Manage the estimating process from MEP drawings through take-off, BOQ, costing, and final quotation.
Requirements and qualifications
- Strong experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and ELV estimation.
- Strong AutoCAD skills for reading drawings and quantity take-offs.
- Strong Excel skills for BOQ, costing, and rate analysis.
- Good knowledge of UAE MEP material, labour, and subcontractor rates.
- UAE MEP contracting or tendering experience is preferred.
- Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
