Role overview

Quality planning and inspection

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection and test plans for MEP systems.
• Verify MEP installations against approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Inspect incoming materials and monitor MEP subcontractor work for compliance with project requirements and quality standards.

Documentation, coordination, and handover

• Maintain inspection reports, material approvals, method statements, test results, non-conformance reports, and testing-equipment calibration records.
• Prepare regular quality reports and coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction teams, third-party laboratories, and certification bodies.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on inspections, approvals, and handover documentation.
• Attend site coordination meetings, witness testing and commissioning, and ensure final inspections and snagging are documented before handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
• At least 10 years of UAE construction experience in MEP.
• Able to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
