Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site MEP Project Manager role based in Dubai.

The MEP Project Manager will oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works for interior fit-out projects from concept to handover, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design and site teams, reviewing and approving MEP shop drawings and submittals, and managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality execution.

The role involves preparing and tracking project budgets and schedules, monitoring progress on site, and resolving technical issues to avoid delays.

The MEP Project Manager will also liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities, lead inspections and testing, and prepare regular progress and cost reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) project experience, including coordination of building services and site execution.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Plumbing systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning within fit-out or construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Project Management and Budgeting, including planning, cost control, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Experience with technical Submittals, shop drawings, material approvals, and coordination with consultants and authorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
  • Previous experience managing MEP works for commercial, hospitality, or residential interior fit-out projects in the UAE or GCC.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense), and industry standards.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary site teams.
  • Proficiency in project management and technical software (e.g., MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office).
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Dubai and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
