Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer with strong joinery and fit-out project experience to plan, execute, supervise, and handover MEP works for interior fit-out projects.
The role involves coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with joinery production, ensuring alignment with site requirements, client specifications, and authority regulations.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on UAE experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review MEP drawings, designs, and specifications for joinery and interior fit-out projects.
- Coordinate MEP services with joinery production, site installation teams, and subcontractors.
- Prepare load calculations, material take-offs, BOQ, and shop drawings as required.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA, DCD, DM, etc.).
- Supervise MEP installations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and low-voltage services.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Identify design conflicts, raise RFIs, and provide technical solutions.
- Schedule and plan MEP work sequences aligned with overall project timelines.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure smooth workflow for timely project delivery.
- Attend client meetings, consultant meetings, and site coordination meetings.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for management and clients.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and project handover documentation.
