Full-time, on-site MEP Engineer role based in Dubai.
The role covers MEP coordination, site execution, technical documentation, inspections, approvals, and procurement coordination for construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Review project scope and contract requirements.
- Prepare and review material submittals, shop drawings, MSRA, reports, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate MEP site activities, inspections, permits, testing, commissioning, and required approvals.
- Work with clients, consultants, authorities, project teams, procurement teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve technical and site issues and support timely execution.
- Initiate MRNs, follow up on material deliveries, attend coordination and review meetings, and maintain project communication and follow-up.
Qualifications and experience
- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 4–5 years of relevant UAE construction experience as an MEP Engineer or in a similar role.
- Practical experience in MEP coordination, site execution, technical documentation, inspections, and approvals.
- Knowledge of electrical building services, including power distribution, lighting, and low-current systems, and understanding of other MEP services.
- Experience preparing and reviewing material submittals, shop drawings, MSRA, technical reports, and related documentation.
- Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, authorities, procurement teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering/design tools is required; BIM/Revit exposure is advantageous.
- DM certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
