Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and ELV installations through testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Review and approve MEP shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals with consultants, architects, and other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defence, and other UAE authority requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and progress monitoring; resolve technical issues, RFIs, and site conflicts.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, and civil teams, including BIM/Revit coordination where applicable.
• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and progress reports; support planning and scheduling.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, de-snagging, and final handover.
• Ensure HSE standards and safe work practices are followed on site.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE MEP experience on buildings, villas, commercial, or residential projects.
• G+4 and above project experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE codes and standards, including DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, NFPA, and ASHRAE.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP or BIM coordination experience is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay

• AED 5,000–7,000 per month.

Workplace

• The role is described as on-site in Dubai, and the pay section states hybrid remote in Dubai.
