About Your Team

This role sits within the MEP function and reports directly to the MEP Manager, with close coordination with the Project Lead. The team is responsible for ensuring all MEP activities are fully coordinated across design, subcontractors, and site execution, maintaining alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.

Your Role

As an MEP Coordinator , you will:

• Support subcontractor management, including planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Lead coordination meetings with subcontractors and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate MEP design across stakeholders, ensuring integration within drawings and BIM models.
• Review shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Identify and resolve design clashes using tools such as Revit and Navisworks.
• Coordinate with design teams on RCPs, floor finishes, and architectural interfaces.
• Verify electrical loads, cooling requirements, and equipment selections.
• Ensure BMS sequences, interface documentation, and FLS coordination are aligned across all systems.
• Inspect MEP installations to ensure compliance with quality standards and approved drawings.
• Coordinate site access, clearances, and resolve constraints between civil and MEP works.
• Monitor subcontractor manpower and performance in line with project plans.
• Support QAQC processes, ensuring timely closure of SORs and NCRs.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and system start-up activities, ensuring documentation and approvals.
• Liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

This role is full time and follows a Monday to Saturday work week, typical for project-based positions in our industry.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 10+ years of which at least 5 years with a leading Main Contractor.

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of MEP systems, coordination processes, and construction sequencing.
• Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and international standards.

Skills:

• Strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces across design and site teams.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Desirable:

• Working knowledge of BIM processes and digital coordination tools.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
