Role Description

• The Wellness Expert – Mental Health Counselor is a part-time remote role focused on delivering high-quality, client-centered counseling services through TherapyMantra’s online platform.
• In this role, you will conduct individual and, where applicable, couples or family sessions via secure video calls and chat, providing evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s needs.
• You will complete assessments, develop and update treatment plans, manage caseloads, and maintain thorough, confidential records in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Daily responsibilities include monitoring client progress, offering psychoeducation and coping strategies, collaborating with other mental health professionals as needed, and utilizing digital tools and resources to enhance client engagement.
• You will also participate in clinical meetings, trainings, and supervision, while supporting clients across diverse backgrounds and time zones with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and professional integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mental Health and Psychology, with the ability to apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches in online counseling settings.
• Competence in Treatment Planning and Case Management, including assessment, goal setting, documentation, and ongoing evaluation of client progress.
• Experience in Relationship Counseling, with the ability to support couples, families, and interpersonal dynamics using structured, client-centered interventions.
• Relevant academic background such as a master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
• Current licensure or certification as a mental health professional (as required by jurisdiction), with adherence to professional ethics and confidentiality standards.
• Comfort working in a remote, digital environment, including proficiency with telehealth platforms, electronic records, and secure communication tools.
• Excellent listening, communication, and crisis management skills, with the ability to support clients from diverse cultures, identities, and age groups.
