Salary
- $65,000.00 - $66,500.00 per year + Quarterly Bonus Potential
Responsibilities
- Provide active and passive, group and individual activities that enhance the lives of the Residents, allowing them to play an active role in society.
- Develop, organize and implement a well-rounded activities program that enhances the lives of the residents.
- Must have extensive knowledge of therapeutic recreational techniques and possess the ability to interact positively with outside organizations to promote positive community relations.
- Must display creativity, leadership skills, and motivational drive.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required ( a bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or a similar field is strongly preferred ).
- A minimum of one-year prior experience in the Recreational Therapy field ( preferably Memory Care/Dementia specific ) is required ( preference will be given to those with experience in a supervisory/managerial role ).
- A valid driver's license is required with no more than two moving violations in a three-year period as determined by insurance industry standards.
- Gerontology experience is strongly preferred.
- CRS is preferred.
