Role Overview

This contract role focuses on advancing AI research and engineering solutions for a cutting-edge technology platform.

The position involves designing, building, and optimizing research systems to improve model performance, scalability, and reliability.

The work directly contributes to the development of high-performance AI infrastructure, enabling faster experimentation and deployment for global applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain core research engineering systems that support AI model training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Optimize computational pipelines to reduce latency and improve throughput in distributed research environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new algorithms and techniques into existing research frameworks.
  • Implement rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure system stability and reproducibility of results.
  • Document technical specifications, research findings, and implementation details for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in research engineering, systems programming, or software development with AI applications.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust, with a strong grasp of algorithms and data structures for scalable systems.
  • Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Ray, Dask, or Kubernetes for large-scale AI workloads.
  • Knowledge of ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for research infrastructure.
