- Precisely monitor and control furnace temperatures and chemistry, ensuring optimal metal quality and consistency for each pour.
- Efficiently charge furnaces with the correct materials, including scrap, alloys, and additives, strictly adhering to established formulas and procedures.
- Skillfully tap molten metal from the furnace into ladles or molds, maintaining safety protocols and minimizing material loss or contamination.
- Conduct regular inspections of furnace linings, refractory materials, and equipment, promptly identifying and reporting any maintenance needs.
