Zilyass Medical is seeking a meticulous and quality-driven **Medical Software Tester** to join our innovative team in Doha.
As a Medical Software Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and compliance of healthcare software solutions that support medical professionals and improve patient outcomes.
This position is ideal for individuals who combine strong testing expertise with an understanding of healthcare systems and a passion for delivering exceptional software quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document manual and automated test cases for healthcare software applications.
- Validate software functionality, performance, usability, security, and system integration requirements.
- Identify, report, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, product teams, and healthcare stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Review functional specifications and user requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
- Conduct regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Verify compliance with healthcare industry standards, data privacy requirements, and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain detailed test documentation, defect reports, and testing metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
- Support software releases and post-deployment validation activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or healthcare technology environments.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Electronic Health Records (EHR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), or related platforms is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of database testing, API testing, and web/mobile application testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient data privacy, and information security standards.
- ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications are considered an advantage.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
