Overview
- Maintaining and organizing patient medical records (electronic and paper, if applicable).
- Ensuring medical records are complete, accurate, and updated promptly.
- Reviewing documentation for missing or incomplete information and coordinating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to resolve issues.
- Managing the hospital's Electronic Health Record system, including data entry and retrieval.
- Processing requests for medical records from authorized individuals while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Ensuring compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and data privacy requirements.
- Preparing records for audits, accreditation inspections, and legal requests.
- Supporting coding and billing teams by providing complete documentation when needed.
- Archiving, retaining, and securely disposing of records according to retention policies.
- Generating reports and statistics related to medical records and hospital activity.
- Training staff on proper documentation and record management procedures when required.
- Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
