Role Description

The Medical Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based at Enfield Royal Clinic in Abu Dhabi.

This team member will be the first point of contact for patients, greeting visitors, managing the reception area, and ensuring a professional, welcoming experience at all times.

Daily responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, and coordinating patient flow to and from consultation and treatment rooms.

The role also involves maintaining accurate patient records, verifying basic registration details, supporting the medical office with administrative tasks, and handling payments and receipts in line with clinic procedures.

The Medical Receptionist will collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient operations, protect patient confidentiality, and uphold the clinic’s service standards.

Qualifications

  • StrongReception and front-desk skills, including Receptionist Duties and managing a professional, patient-facing environment.
  • Proficiency inAppointment Scheduling and coordinating patient flow in a busy medical office setting.
  • Clear, courteousPhone Etiquette for handling high call volumes, inquiries, and appointment confirmations.
  • Basic knowledge ofMedical Terminology and familiarity with processes in a Medical Office or clinic environment.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare, cosmetic, or dental clinic reception or customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in handling confidential information.
  • Comfort using clinic software, scheduling tools, and standard office applications.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills (such as Arabic) are an advantage.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in medical administration is a plus.
