Role Description
The Medical Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Professor Clinics to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
This role manages clinical schedules, staffing, and patient flow, coordinating closely with consultants, dentists, nurses, and administrative staff to optimize clinic utilization and minimize wait times.
The Medical Operations Manager monitors operational performance, implements process improvements, and ensures compliance with local healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and internal policies.
Daily responsibilities include supervising front-desk and clinical support teams, resolving operational issues, managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring that equipment and treatment rooms are ready and functioning.
The role also supports budgeting and reporting, tracks key performance metrics, and collaborates with leadership on patient experience initiatives and service development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in clinical or medical operations management, preferably in dental, outpatient, or specialty clinic settings.
- Strong skills in workflow optimization, scheduling, and resource planning to manage patient flow and staff assignments.
- Knowledge of healthcare quality standards, infection control, patient safety protocols, and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clinicians, staff, patients, and external partners.
- Competence in using clinic management software, EHR or dental practice systems, and common office applications (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with KPIs, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Dentistry, or a related field; a relevant master’s degree is an advantage.
- Professional proficiency in English; proficiency in Arabic and familiarity with the local healthcare context are highly beneficial.
