Medical Material Manager

Under minimal supervision, the Medical Materials Manager directs and manages all warehouse support service activities supporting the Navy Medical Readiness Logistic Command’s (NMRLC) Expeditionary Medical System (EXMED) mission. Employees in this job class performs tasks involved in the receiving, shipping, storing (stowing), selecting (picking) supply turn-in (disposal), packing (kitting and stuffing) or unpacking (downloading) and inventory of general or specialized material and equipment. The Medical Materials Manager will utilize the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) database, or Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) database, or other DoD authorized system to accurately account for and process the Table of Allowances (TOA) which are sometimes also referred to as Authorized Medical Allowance Lists (AMALs) or Authorized Dental Allowance Lists (ADALs) which comprise EXMEDS.

The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements: CAT Card Clearance Forklift Certification Valid Driver's License

Work is performed in an austere environment, such as a warehouse.

May require walking to and from other nearby warehouses.

Warehouse equipment can be found in each warehouse.

Must wear Personal Protective Equipment during the duty day, such as steel-toe shoes, hard hat, hearing protection, glasses, gloves, etc.

Employees may be required to work in excess of 8 hours in a day and/or 40 hours per week.
