Internship overview
Hands-on training in diagnostic testing, laboratory procedures, and equipment handling under experienced professionals' supervision.
Role is based in Abu Dhabi and work is in person.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with sample collection, preparation, and analysis.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests under supervision.
- Follow safety and quality control protocols.
- Maintain and update laboratory records and reports.
- Support equipment maintenance and calibration activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Valid DOH license as a laboratory technician or technologist is mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures and instruments.
- Attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical laboratory environment.
Training and benefits
- Structured training and supervision by senior technologists.
- Experience in a DOH-accredited laboratory environment.
- Internship certificate and performance-based recommendation letter.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,000 per month.
