The employer is seeking an experienced Medical Footwear Technologist to join its healthcare team.
The stated position location is Abu Dhabi, UAE; employment type is full-time.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' footwear and foot-related requirements.
- Design, develop, and customize medical or orthopedic footwear for individual patient needs.
- Take accurate foot measurements, impressions, and assessments; recommend therapeutic and orthopedic footwear solutions.
- Coordinate with physicians, podiatrists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure proper fit, comfort, functionality, and patient safety; modify footwear as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow healthcare quality standards.
Requirements
- Diploma, bachelor's degree, or relevant qualification in Footwear Technology, Orthopedic Footwear, Prosthetics and Orthotics, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in medical, orthopedic, or therapeutic footwear.
- Strong knowledge of foot anatomy, biomechanics, footwear fitting, and customization.
- Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.
- Relevant UAE experience or professional licensing/eligibility is an advantage.
Pay
- AED 3,000–8,000 per month.
