AER Consultora Medical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Medical Consultant** to join our expert advisory team in Doha.
This role is designed for a medical professional who combines clinical expertise with strategic insight, helping healthcare organizations improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and clinical governance.
You will play a key role in guiding healthcare projects, advising institutions, and supporting evidence-based decision-making across diverse medical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical consultation for healthcare projects, clinical programs, and institutional development.
- Evaluate clinical practices and recommend improvements aligned with international healthcare standards.
- Support healthcare strategy development, policy formulation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, administrators, and healthcare planners.
- Conduct medical audits, case reviews, and performance assessments.
- Advise on patient safety, clinical governance, and risk management frameworks.
- Contribute to healthcare research, reports, and evidence-based recommendations.
- Support implementation of digital health and medical innovation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations and international best practices.
Required
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution).
- Valid medical license to practice or eligibility for licensure in Qatar.
- Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and advisory capabilities.
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare consulting, hospital administration, or clinical governance.
- Background in public health, internal medicine, or specialty practice.
- Familiarity with healthcare quality frameworks and accreditation standards (e.g., JCI).
- Experience working in multicultural or international healthcare environments.
- Research or publication experience in medical journals.
