Qualifications
- Education and Experience Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent GED,
- Graduate of Medical Assistant program OR one year previous medical back-office experience, preferably within an acute healthcare system environment.
- Basic keyboarding skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Must be willing to travel to different locations up to 50% of the time.
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends
- Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelors’ degree in healthcare-related field
- Minimum one (1) year previous medical back-office experience, preferably within an acute healthcare system environment
- Working Knowledge of EPIC or other Electronic Medical Record system ‘EMR’
- Qualified bilingual or multilingual candidates

- Certifications Required:
- Current BLS (AHA) Certification
- Pain Management Center: National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT) or California specific CPT I
- Certifications Preferred:
- Medical Assistant Certification
- CPR certification
- Current Limited Phlebotomy Certification
- National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT) or California specific CPT I
