Media Localization Project Manager

Role overview

Project delivery

• Lead localization of training materials, educational programming, radio, television, internet spots, and animated videos.
• Manage projects from pre-flight checks and vendor selection through production, post-production, and delivery.
• Plan schedules, provide detailed instructions, and coordinate talents, studios, and editors.
• Supervise recording sessions and provide real-time feedback during production.
• Oversee audio and video editing, graphics replacement, subtitling, and final checks.
• Review deliverables for accuracy, clarity, quality, and cultural resonance.

Workflow and collaboration

• Collaborate with creative and technical teams and clients to solve delivery challenges.
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with contract talent and vendors.
• Troubleshoot production issues and recommend workflow improvements.
• Work with management to implement solutions that improve project efficiency.

What you bring

• Three to five years of experience as a producer or media project manager, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
• Ability to manage multiple workflows and communicate with creative and technical teams.
• Experience scheduling, guiding, and providing feedback to voice talents, studios, and editors.
• Experience with multiple AI voiceover platforms and familiarity with synthetic voice production principles.
• Ability to negotiate rates and deadlines with contract talent.
• Understanding of the audio and video content lifecycle.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and proactive process improvement approach.
