Project execution and coordination
- Oversee HVAC ducting, piping, insulation, and equipment installation against approved drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Coordinate contractors, technicians, subcontractors, and civil, electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and tools; attend site meetings, resolve technical issues, and coordinate MEP drawings.
Quality and commissioning
- Inspect AHUs, FCUs, chillers, condensers, ductwork, insulation, and refrigerant and chilled-water piping; raise inspections and obtain consultant approvals.
- Conduct pressure and duct leakage tests and flushing; verify air balancing, system performance, and temperature control; assist with commissioning and handover.
Materials, documentation, and progress
- Review material submittals and shop drawings, track deliveries, and ensure approved materials are used.
- Maintain progress reports, method statements, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.
- Track schedule progress, report delays, technical issues, and resource needs, and support project milestones.
Health and safety
- Ensure site work follows HSE regulations; conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks; ensure safe handling of refrigerants and heavy equipment.
Technical skills
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles and load concepts and understanding of duct fabrication and installation standards.
- Ability to read AutoCAD and MEP drawings.
- Familiarity with chilled water, VRF/VRV, and ventilation and exhaust systems.
- Knowledge of international codes such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, or DW144.
Other qualifications
- Strong coordination and communication skills, problem-solving ability on live construction sites, and time and manpower management.
- Ability to work to project deadlines.
- Diploma is preferred.
Pay and employment
- Full-time role; pay starts at AED 3,000 per month.
Work location
- The duties involve HVAC installation and coordination on construction sites.
- Candidates must be able to commute to Fujairah or plan to relocate before starting.
