Full-time, on-site Mechanical Project Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Oversee design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical systems for material handling and related industrial projects.
Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review engineering drawings; coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets and prepare technical documentation.
- Support procurement with technical input.
- Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Participate in site meetings, resolve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering and project execution processes.
Qualifications
- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering and ability to apply engineering principles to design, analysis, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
- Experience in Project Engineering and Project Management, including planning, coordination, risk management, and delivering projects within scope, time, and budget.
- Proficiency in CAD and REVIT tools for creating, reviewing, and modifying mechanical layouts, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
- BIM experience is an added bonus.
- Knowledge of building interface workshops, coordination, and clash detection analysis is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in industrial, airport, logistics, or material handling projects is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and interaction with clients and contractors.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai and support occasional travel to project locations if required.
