Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical package engineering activities during PDP and FEED stages, including design development, proposal preparation, and delivery of engineering deliverables for major projects.
• Review and approve mechanical package designs, specifications, and engineering outputs to ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support across project phases, including resolving design and operational issues, engaging with vendors and clients, and supporting procurement activities.
• Develop, maintain, and govern mechanical package standards while mentoring junior engineers and supporting project planning, scheduling, and performance tracking.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in petrochemical, refining, oil & gas, or related industries, with significant exposure to FEED/EPC projects.
• Extensive experience across the full project lifecycle for greenfield and brownfield projects, including mechanical package design in PDP/FEED and pre-tender engineering.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and regulations (API, ASME, ISO, PIP, NFPA, IEC, HCIS, RCER), with the ability to interpret specifications and evaluate technical deviations.
• Proven expertise in engineering tools (, PV Elite, COMPRESS), mechanical package deliverables, vendor coordination, and technical problem-solving within complex project environments.
• Work Type and Location
• This is a contract position located in Al Jubail, Eastern region. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
