Role Description
Responsible for inspecting and monitoring mechanical works at site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, applicable codes/standards, and project quality requirements. The role includes inspection of HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Drainage, and related MEP systems for building and infrastructure, reviewing inspection requests, witnessing testing & commissioning activities, reporting non-conformances, and coordinating with Contractors, Consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure proper execution of works.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum seven years of experience in MEP/Mechanical inspection works; preferably in building construction projects within the UAE/GCC
Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with international standards, local authority regulations, and project specifications.
- Ability to review shop drawings, material submittals, inspection requests, and method statements.
- Experience in site inspections, testing & commissioning, and quality control procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and reporting.
- Holds valid UAE Driver’s license
- Good to have:
- Membership or certification from recognized engineering bodies.
- Familiarity with authority approvals and inspection processes in Abu Dhabi/UAE.

- Experience working in Abu Dhabi is highly preferred
- Candidate currently in UAE is mandatory
