continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimation Engineer to join our
team.
Job Summary
The Mechanical Estimation Engineer will be responsible for reviewing tender documents,
performing quantity take-o�s, preparing accurate cost estimates, coordinating with
suppliers and subcontractors, and supporting the preparation of competitive tender
submissions for mechanical systems including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Piping
works.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project brief and discuss with the management to conclude whether to bid or not
- to bid.
- Analyze project scope, technical requirements, and client specifications.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents and check for missing
- documents.
- Perform detailed quantity take-o�s for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and piping systems.
- Prepare material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead cost estimates with
- price build up.
- Develop project budgets and tender pricing.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare technical and commercial bid submissions.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives.
- Conduct risk assessments and include contingencies where necessary.
- Coordinate with other teams (Electrical) for any mismatch.
- Maintain estimation databases, pricing records, and historical cost information.
- Raise RFIs and coordinate technical clarifications with consultants and project teams.
- Support project handover activities and provide cost-related assistance to execution
- teams.
