Responsibilities
- Contribute to ongoing Hardware R&D projects.
- Assist with design, analysis, and prototyping of mechanical components for a new Ultraslim sensor, including CAD modeling, material selection, and testing.
- Support mechanical design across projects, including developing fixtures, optimizing existing designs, and supporting experimental setups.
- Improve drawings and optimize the CAD library by standardizing components and creating new models that follow company standards.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and interest in hardware development.
- Proficiency in CAD software; SolidWorks is preferred.
- Understanding of mechanical design principles, material properties, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to generate and interpret technical models and drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, communication, and teamwork.
- Familiarity with electronics design principles is a bonus.
Compensation
- Expected salary is CAD $28–$30 per hour; offers depend on skills, competencies, and experience.
