Job Purpose
Apply relevant mechanical engineering expertise and knowledge within the Maintenance Department.
Conduct technical studies, conceptual and detail design, and review and recommend modifications and developments.
Contribute to achieving planned objectives.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Study, evaluate, and propose maintenance improvements pertaining to asset maintenance.
- Mitigate maintenance issues to ensure the availability of assets.
- Guide the maintenance team by providing technical support.
- Optimize spares for the assets.
- Review maintenance procedures from time to time.
- Train supporting staff in maintenance activities.
- Participate in project document review and assist in construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Prepare blanket agreement contracts for various maintenance activities.
- Prepare PM schedules for the refinery rotating equipment.
- Supervise shutdown and turnaround activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance of assets in Oil/Gas Sector industries.
- Strong knowledge of static and rotating equipment.
