Role
The Mechanical Engineer works on-site in Riyadh on the design, development, and optimization of security and access control products.
The role is full-time.
Responsibilities
- Create and review mechanical designs, detailed drawings, and models.
- Support material and component selection for bollards, road blockers, and gate systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manufacturing on design feasibility.
- Assist with testing and validation of product performance and standards compliance.
- Support continuous improvement, troubleshoot design and production issues, and prepare documentation and technical reports.
Qualifications
- Strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals and practical experience with mechanical systems and components.
- Machine design skills, including stress analysis, material selection, and design for manufacturability.
- CAD skills for 3D modeling and detailed engineering drawings.
- Project management abilities and research and development skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience in security products, industrial machinery, or similar engineered systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with production and installation teams, and communicate clearly in English; Arabic proficiency is beneficial.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, safety requirements, and quality assurance practices.
