Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities
- Work within the mechanical engineering team to translate system-level requirements into mechanical sub-system designs.
- Support the design of parts and assemblies in NX, including CAD modeling, 2D drawing creation, and documentation.
- Participate in prototyping, mechanical testing, and validation of components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure designs meet functional requirements and other DfX considerations.
- Generate and maintain BOMs, test reports, and assembly instructions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical engineering, system engineering, and the software engineering teams.
- Work with operations and manufacturing engineering teams to support pilot builds and production readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant industry experience in mechanical design or product development.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software.
- Experience creating 2D drawings with proper dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Familiarity with mechanical principles, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Hands-on prototyping and testing experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
