Role overview

What you will do

• Design sophisticated systems that integrate hardware and software.
• Prepare material specifications, layouts, and drawings, with appropriate follow-up.
• Recommend productivity improvements, cost reductions, and improvements to customer satisfaction.
• Conduct technical interchange and transfer knowledge about processes and product applications for system design.
• Resolve complex problems using problem-solving skills.
• Perform project engineering and commissioning at customer sites.
• Communicate, train, and work with customers on final system design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• At least 3 years of successful related experience; an advanced degree may substitute for experience.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software and AutoCAD.
• Experience in material handling or automation and in project-based engineering from design through installation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to delegate effectively.
• Understand project schedules and budgets for Mechanical Engineering functions; able to lead multiple small or mid-sized projects.
• Able to travel and work at customer sites up to 20%.

Compensation

• Estimated base pay range is $61,125–$89,650 per year at the time of posting.
• Final compensation depends on factors including work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
